Applications and Implications

Assignment :

The Assignment for this week is to Define the scope & Develop a project plan of my final project.

• ➢What will it do?  

My project is usually inspired by my kids. I call this as surprise box this toy will help boost their mental ability and skills in solving puzzles. surprise box is a box with an opening which is equipped with a smart lock in which will open and unveiled the prize inside if they were able to solved the puzzle correctly, and a top side where the puzzle pad is to be placed.

• ➢Who has done what beforehand?  

I  always see the box puzzle installation in the shop for kids and I ask myself if there is a lock and the child puts the installation to unlock the lock and take the surprise from inside.

• ➢What materials and components will be required?  

1. 1.Attitiny 44 . 

2. 2.Motor driver. 

3. 3.LEDs. 

4. 4.3 resistors. 

5. 5.Acrylic to be used to made the base and cart (laser cut). 

6. 6.Board copper sheet. 

7. 7.Servo. 

8. 8.paper for stickers.
   
    

• ➢where will they come from?  

All the materials from the lab inventory.

• ➢How much will it cost?  

The Surprise box approximately cost 30 USD.  Including materials.

• ➢What parts and systems will be made?  

1. 1.CNC for the box . 

2. 2.Making a 3d printed 

3. 3.Cirquid for milling my micro-controller board.
   -Soldering iron . 

4. 4.DC Motor ,Ultrasonic Sensor and Controller board. 

5. 5.Vinyl cutter for printing the logo.
    

• ➢What processes will be used?  

1. 1.Computer-aided design for the PCB Design. 

2. 2.CNC for the box. 

3. 3.3D printing: for the making puzzles.
   
    

• ➢What tasks need to be completed?  

1. 1.Designing Circuit Board. 

2. 2.3D printing the puzzles. 

3. 3.Assembling all components.

1. 1.How the CNC cut wood will fit with each other ?

• ➢How will it be evaluated?  

I believe i will be evaluated based on my demonstration to the knowledge gained during the reprieves weeks. the gained knowledge should be reflected on my final project. Moreover, I truly think that my idea will be beneficial to help people around the world. I hope I will be well evaluated.
